As part of the Fremantle Festival Street Parade I had a chat with Sam from Inkling Arts to create an activity so families could join in the parade. Sam made a template and an amazing instructional video to create a Rainbow Animal.
I’m currently working on a project for City of Fremantle, helping set up the Youth Advisory Council. It’s amazing…..so much talent, energy and passion in the SWITCH. (the group of young people driving this concept) We are collaborating online and we met face to face recently so it’s full steam ahead. Here’s some pictures taken by SWITCH member Keane Bourke view his website existencephotography.com
This project was incredible! The Fremantle community loaned us their wedding dresses for this exhibition in Many6160 as part of the Fremantle heritage festival. Read the stories of each dress here.
Worked with the Bus Preservation Society, Fremantle vintage shops and Guerrilla Granny to create this shopping tour for the Fremantle heritage festival.
Helped out the Fremantle Bicycle User Group (BUG) with the light me up ride. We pimped out our bikes and went on a 5k bike ride!
Working with Spare Parts Puppet theatre we set up a 50 seat Black box theatre to give actors, directors and producers a free venue to present their work during the Fremantle festival.
I worked with Emily from The Little Press, Geoff from Vintage services and Flametree creative to create the festival artwork so it could be printed on a vintage letter press. The Esplanade Hotel Fremantle hosted live printing in their foyer for the opening weekend of the Heritage festival.
